thinking about whale fall

it suuuuuuucks how hard of a wall i hit making it

like two weeks after i published chapter one i got incredibly sick with the coronavirus, and then the lockdowns started, and then the long drawn out shit with that boy i liked, and i just never really got back in the headspace to work on fiction

i'm making some progress now. it's still my first try at writing a story and i don't know what i'm doing. i want to be good at this, someday. the only way to get good at writing stories is to write lots of stories...

chapter one was fun, but completely unsustainable. each page took 12-18 hours just to draw, i didn't keep track of how long it took to script but that time wasn't insignificant. i've gotta work faster than that, if i want to make comics and stories.
